Tooky's Tree Empty
PostSubject: Tooky's Tree   Tooky's Tree I_icon_minitimeSat Sep 18, 2010 5:52 pm

Description::

A tall oak tree that stands in the Forest. It has massive branches that extend to the sky and stretch out for quite a while. Weaving into the branches of the other trees around it. Which allows one to travel quite a distance without ever touching the ground. The tree is claimed by Tooky as her home, cat claw marks lace the tree from her climbing on it and sharpening her claws. However Tooky isn't too territorial and doesn't mind sharing her tree with whatever may choose to live there, as long as they don't try to kick her out. It's conveniently located, being rather close to the stream. There is an abandoned owl nests, that can be used to sleep in if the weather is bad, seeing as it helps keep at least some body heat. Hidden in the roots of the tree is an entrance to a huge labyrinth of tunnels inhabited by a weasel, there are other entrances to the tunnel systems all around the territory, they were dens of other animals such as rabbits, mice, voles, you name it that were connected by digging. The main entrance to the tunnels however is the one among the roots of Tooky's tree. It's not too uncommon for Tooky to squeeze through the tunnels to see the weasel or leave some extra prey for him.

The light brown tabby trudged across a branch as she finally reached her home. She was exhausted. She hadn't realized how tired she was... She draped her slim body over a branch and let herself doze off. Depression probably hadn't helped her energy level. Her mind wondered to the Weasel. Wondering if he was okay... He slept less then she did. It was just their species differences... She also let her mind wander to the dog she had met but a few heartbeats ago. Her mother had been fond of him from what she could tell. She purred unevenly. Hoping that the two would fall in love and have a beautiful and long relationship. Her mother deserved that much. Even if she wasn't yet sure about what to think of the mutt. The tabby's breathing became steadily more even and she drifted off to the warped reality of dreams.

The warmth of sunshine woke the She-cat up. She got to her paws and stretched with a yawn. It was late morning or so she guessed by where the sun was. She sat down on the branch she had passed out on, pleased about how it was thick enough to allow her to groom herself on it. She drew her tongue over her fur, wrinkling her nose slightly when she could taste the scent of dog on her fur. She was used to the way most animals smelled, but dog? No. To her at least they weren't the most pleasant scent in the world. Though that may partially be due to her breed... 'I'm probably going to swim a bit later... Water tends to wash all scents away...' She thought when after her pelt was neat and fully groomed the scent of dog still remained, even if the stench was faint...

Tooky climbed down the trunk of her tree. Pausing when she had reached the ground, What should she do first though? She might want to hunt before she swam, seeing as swimming took energy. 'You're a cat Tooky. You can fish at the stream.' she mentally reminded herself. With an unsure twitch of her tail she started padding towards the stream, wondering if the Shark would be there... She wouldn't mind talking to him, Kisame was an interesting person and she could relate to him... 'It's also morning... So others may be gathering at the stream for a drink of water and socialization...' she thought, wondering if her paw steps would cross with another member of the pack.
